Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 15 oz can kidney beans
- 15 oz can black beans
- 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth (or water)
Chili Seasoning
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
Directions

Cook the onions over medium heat until translucent. Add the ground beef and continue to cook until the beef is browned.

Drain the beans and add them to the pot along with the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth/water, and the chili seasoning ingredients. Stir until well-combined.

Cover with a lid and allow to simmer for at least 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
